Psychological healthy and stress management techniques play an important role in staffs’ daily life and work. Thus, in order to make a nice working and living environment for the staff and strengthen their sense of well-being and belonging, Xili Labor Union and our corporation held a training on mental health and stress management to help our staffs to build an efficiencies scientific stress management ability. Doctor Shi Kan, professor of Management School from the Chinese Academy of Science and director of the Social and Organizational Research Center as well as the vice president from the Social Psychological Behavior Organization, made the lecture. Managers and staffs from our company attended this training. It focused on three parts: physical, mind, and spirit. At the beginning of this training, questionnaires were presented to trainees to get their opinions about management style, then suggestions was given to the managers. This training helped trainees not only realized the importance of self-choice and cognition but also grasp the skills of strengthening self-confidence, self-relief ability and difficulties handling techniques. All the trainees learned a lot from this training and they appreciated it very much.
The management pays high attention to staff training program. Later on, more training courses will be held for all the staffs including management team and the front line workers to develop everyone’s comprehensive ability. We do think that systematic and practical training will bring a lot benefits to our staff and corporation. “Human resource is the base for a corporation”, says management guru Peter Drucker.
